Acupuncture for Pain Relief
Acupuncture continues to gain acceptance in the medical community. I began studying acupuncture in May of 1992. In the early stages I was very skeptical of acupuncture and its results. Twenty years of practicing acupuncture have changed and opened my mind.

Daily I am amazed by its results in treating back pain, disc pain, and even smoking cessation. I rarely advertise that I practice Acupuncture, yet the patient’s still seem to find me. They are generally very receptive to Acupuncture.

Dr. David J. Moreland
Dr. David J. Moreland, DC, CCSP, has provided chiropractic care to patients in Rolla and the surrounding communities for more than 30 years. He is Board Certified by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) and has advanced training in the evaluation and conservative treatment of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Moreland provides individualized chiropractic care using a variety of techniques, including hands-on chiropractic adjusting, Activator methods, and Cox Flexion-Distraction for appropriate patients with lower back pain, disc-related conditions, and sciatica. A Rolla native, Dr. Moreland believes treatment should be based on each patient's history, examination findings, condition, age, activity level, and individual preferences. His goal is to provide appropriate conservative care while recognizing when additional medical evaluation or referral may be necessary.
